I have had a passion for web design and development since I was a journalism
student at the University of Kansas. After graduating, I became an educator while coding as a
hobby. For several years, I focused on learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and Javascript
through self-instructed programming courses like The Odin Project, Code Academy and Treehouse.
After learning the basics and specifying my coding interests, I took the next step and enrolled in
the University of Kansas' Full Stack Web Development bootcamp. This intensive program extensively
covered a wide range of trending front and backend technologies. It provided the skills that
allowed me
to leap from coding as a hobby to a full stack developer with a valuable, extensive skillset.
Take a look at the technologies I'm currently using and the projects I'm currently working on.
I am always looking for new things to learn and new problems to solve. If you're looking for a
team member that is willing to keep learning and growing as a developer, get in touch.
I have experience with a wide range of both front and back end technologies. You can see examples of each of the following technologies in my Recent Work.
